The first stop for tourists coming to Kashmir valley is the capital city of Srinagar and more often than not first on their itinerary is a visit to Dal Lake and Mughal Gardens.
The gardens including Nishat, Shalimar, Cheshma Shahi and Harwan have been serving as prime tourist attractions.

Nishat Garden slightly smaller in size. The garden has numerous Chinar trees which are believed to have been brought by Mughals from Persia. The twelve terraces in Nishat Garden have a bright outlay of colourful flowers.
