Madhav Palace (A quaint palace that has the colonial touch)

Madhav Palace, structured in pink colour, the palace has a colonial influence that can be seen in its marble floors, iron columns, and quaint terraces. Today, the property is used as a training school for the Intelligence Bureau of the Government of India.

George castle (Built for a short stay of King George)

Located on the highest point within the mysterious depths of the National Park, George Castle was built in 1911 by Jivaji Rao Scindia. Imported English tiles and attractive windows were used in the construction of this exclusive castle.

The “Chhatris” of royals!

Just on the outskirts of Shivpuri located two beautiful chhatris (Cenotaphs) of Scindia king and queen. Flanked by the Mughal gardens with paths adorned with picturesque fencing. The chhatris are a great blend of Hindu and Mughal architecture.

Sakhya Sagar Lake

Sakhya Sagar Lake is one such endeavor of the Scindias located in the Madhav National Park. It is a man-made lake enclosed by forests. Different species of birds and reptiles have been living in this region for a long.

Bhadaiya Kund

Bhadaiya Kund has an interesting character. It is a natural spring near Shivpuri, with impressively high mineral content. Linked to the spring is a kunda (a man-made pool of water), so spring water makes its way through the holes in barricades down to the kunda located below.

Located in the midst of lush forests, the town's natural beauty is as famous as its regal legacy. Shivpuri is an awe-inspiring amalgamation of Hindu and Mughal cultures.
